Twelve months was also spent on the Wirral in the prestigious SAC approved Advanced Surgical Training Post in Foot & Ankle surgery, working with Nick Geary. During this time, interests in both complex primary and revision surgery were developed.

I participate as an ATLS instructor and have taught as a faculty member on both national forefoot instructional courses and on the Football Association pitch-side emergency course. I am both a Clinical and Educational Supervisor to junior doctors and surgeons in training. I represent Harrogate on the Surgical Training Committee and run the annual regional mock FRCS (Tr & Orth) exams. I have presented research findings locally, nationally and internationally, with publications in peer reviewed international journals.’
